What happens before Novis records a meeting?
Participants are informed and asked for consent before recording begins.
Can someone opt out of a meeting recording?
Yes. Anyone can decline when asked for consent, and Novis won’t record that meeting.
What can an admin change later?
Admins can add or remove sources, change channel selections, adjust permissions, or pause capture at any time from Settings.
What happens when we delete information from Novis?
Deleted information is removed from Novis and its search index, then purged from backups on a fixed retention schedule.

Our story
How Novis started
We’ve all been the PM on a Monday morning, scrolling through five tools to answer one simple question: what happened?
What if the story behind every update was simply… there? We sketched the first version of Novis on a whiteboard, then couldn’t stop.
We sat next to real delivery teams, watched how they actually work, and rebuilt Novis around what we saw.
We’re a small team, heads-down with our first customers, shaping Novis around real projects, not assumptions.
